NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM CHANGES TAKE EFFECT OCTOBER 1ST

Morgantown, WV - The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) recently awarded Medical Transportation Management, Inc. (MTM) responsibility and authority for all West Virginia Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) trips. MTM will serve as the broker who will now provide a central point of contact and management for all NEMT services in the State, including Monongalia County. Mountain Line is no longer authorized or eligible for payment for NEMT trips and will no longer be taking appointments for non-emergency medical transportation.

The MTM call center is reportedly scheduled to open in mid-September, the Reservation Line is 1-844-549-8353, their “Where’s My Ride” number is 1-844-549-8354, for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired (TTY) call 800-855-2880 for English and 800-855-2884 for Spanish. Once the Charleston based call center opens NEMT customers will need to call to make arrangements for future NEMT transportation needs. Mountain Line will not be accepting NEMT appointments for appointment dates after September 30, 2014 as a result of this change.

For information on all Mountain Line regular bus routes and schedules, please call 304-291-RIDE (304-291-7433) during normal hours of operation or visit WWW.BUSRIDE.ORG.

### Thank you.
