Grey Line Service to PA Suspended
Due to PA State DOT Road Closures

 

Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line Transit Authority is announcing suspension of Route 29 Grey Line service to PA in response to the Pennsylvania State DOT road restrictions announcement. The statement bans all commercial traffic including buses beginning at 10:00 AM Friday December 26, 2025. 


Today, Thursday December 25, 2025, trips are running as usual. Beginning Friday December 26, 2025 Rt 29 Grey Line will begin the 6:30 AM trip at Pifer Terminal and travel south to Fairmont, Clarksburg, Saltwell, Fairmont, Pifer Terminal, Mountaineer Station and will then return to Pifer Terminal and end service. All Morgantown to southbound service will run as scheduled. 


Service on Grey Line will resume as possible and as the roads reopen. Riders with reservations are being contacted and encouraged to re-schedule. For updates regarding PA Road Restrictions visit https://www.511pa.com/#:Alerts


During winter weather conditions all of the West Virginia local service and routes always run as possible. Should we be unable to provide local service the public will be notified.
