HOW TO PAY

How to Pay

Fare is required from all passengers on all routes. If you haven’t taken the bus before, the idea of paying the fare could seem a little confusing, but it’s really pretty simple.

Mountain Line is a very economical way to travel especially with today’s gas prices. Regular cash fare is seventy five cents you can use coins or a bill but note that neither the fare box nor the driver can make change. Instead you will receive from the fare box a change card worth the value of your change that you can use towards the fare for your next ride.

If you ride frequently you may want to consider a pass. Fifteen ride passes are available for sale at the Westover terminal and are sold at a discounted rate of ten dollars. These passes are good for fifteen rides whenever you want to go. A thirty day pass is good for people who use the bus often like commuters. Thirty day passes are available at the depot and are sold at a discounted rate of thirty five dollars and is good on all local routes for 30 days from the first day you use the pass.
