Morgantown, WV - Through a joint venture between Mountain Line Transit and the Morgantown Monongalia Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Vanpooling is now available in our area.

Anyone is eligible to start or join a Vanpool, to get one started a minimum of 5 people is required but can accommodate groups up to 15. One person volunteers to be the driver/coordinator of the vanpool and often rides free. The riders share the cost of operating the vanpool. The group determines their daily schedule and route including one or more designated pick-up locations such as a park and ride or a shopping center.

Vanpools help drivers save money, time, stress and helps the environment. For the first 14 vanpools to sign up there is a monthly subsidy of $500 to help offset the costs. To sign up visit plantogether.org or call 304-291-3869.
