University ave road closure route adjustments



Morgantown, WV- A section of University Avenue will be closed between Falling Run and Stewart Street beginning today and is currently expected to last through Monday July 28, 2025. During this closure Route 7 Red Line and Route 9 Purple Line will be unable to travel their regular routes. The route deviations are as follows:

           

Rt 7 Red Line will travel Spruce St to Willey St to High St to Walnut St, University Ave/Beechurst and on to Campus Drive on the outbound trip. Inbound Red Line will travel University Avenue to Campus Drive to Beechurst to Fayette and back to route.

           

Rt 9 Purple will travel University Avenue to Falling Run Road on both the outbound and inbound.


Riders are encouraged to download the Bus Finder mobile app to track their bus. Route changes or updates will also be posted on Facebook @MountainLineTransitAuthority and X (formerly known as Twitter) @MountainLine.
