NEWFIT TRANSPORTATION CONTINUES ANOTHER YEAR
THANKS TO THE HAZEL RUBY MCQUAIN CHARITABLE TRUST

Morgantown, WV- Beginning January 2019 the NewFIT service was established to provide medical related trips to those with no other transportation options. The Ruby Hazel McQuain Charitable Trust has for the 3rd year honored Mountain Line with a Grant to support this critical service.

In its first year this service provided 887 trips. In 2020 we discouraged ridership due to the pandemic however by year end our ridership was 1,039, proving how critical and necessary these appointments were. As of November 2021 we have provided 1,289 trips this year.

The NewFIT Service is funded 80% federal and 20% local match. The Foundation provides the 20% local match and without this match the federal funds would not be available.

Mountain Line would like to thank The Hazel Ruby McQuain Charitable Trust for their continued support of this important service we are able to provide the community.

If you would like more information about this service visit busride.org or call Mobility Coordinator, Kelli LaNeve at 304-296-3680.

### End Release. Thank you.
