STATE HONORS MOUNTAIN LINE TRANSIT
Morgantown, WV-
The West Virginia Division of Public Transit held its Annual Excellence Awards Ceremony last week in Canaan Valley and awarded Mountain Line in several categories.
Mrs. Sheila Wolfe, Mountain Line’s Office Manager, was named West Virginia State Transit Employee of the Year. Mrs. Wolfe came to Mountain Line 14 years ago when ridership was just 181,652 and has been an integral part in holding the seams together to this day as we reach 1.3 million rides.
Mountain Line was also recognized for Best Safety Program, Best Maintenance Program, and Best Overall Marketing Program. Mountain Line also won the Good Neighbor Award for working with Barons Bus to get the I79 service to Charleston started.
Mountain Line would in turn like to thank Senator Bob Beach, the Key Note Speaker of the Ceremony for his years of support. The retirement of Susan O’Connell, Executive Director of the West Virginia Division of Public Transit, was also celebrated and Mountain Line wishes her the best with her future endeavors.
