MOUNTAIN LINE TRANSIT RECOGNIZED 
FOR TOP PERFORMANCE

Morgantown, WV - The Mountain Line Transit Authority Board of Directors recognized Mountain Line’s 2024 State Excellence Award winners during their October meeting. 

The 2024 State Driver of the Year Award went to Tom Jones for his exceptional performance. 

Honorable Mention for 2024 State Maintenance Employee was awarded to Jeramiah Bland for being an outstanding team member, and recognizing the mission of the agency.

The 2024 State Marketing Program was given for our Property Tax Pass Program. Continuing with its intention of making public transit affordable for as many people as possible, the Authority developed a bus pass program that would provide bus passes to residents and businesses helping support the expansion of transit service through their property tax contributions.

Mountain Line thanks all of its employees for their exceptional level of work through the 2024 year and is proud to have the state level recognition for their efforts.
