Mountain Line Monthly Ridership Report

Mountain Line Transit Authority reinstated service to several local bus routes in July 2016 and began additional, new bus service in early August 2016. These service changes were made possible through funding provided by the passage of the Transit Levy during the 2016 Primary Election.
Service Results:
New bus service to Mylan Park, Suncrest Town Center, Westover and Star City resulted in an overall ridership increase of 103% since July 2016 when combining reinstated services, new services, and ridership growth on these select routes.
Bus route maps, timetables, fares and other information are available on the Mountain Line web site at www.Busride.org, as is a link to the Authority’s live-time bus tracking mobile app. Passengers can also call 304 291-RIDE (7433) for information or to arrange a rider training session or personal route schedule assistance.

After evaluating 56 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for March 2026. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, Shawn Deval, Daniel Shorter and Andrew Kapper. All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
