Mountain Line Announces Reduced Service
Beginning July 1, 2025
Morgantown, WV- Due to a reduction in service agreements Rt. 30 West Run, Rt 38 Blue & Gold, Rt 44 Valley View and Rt 6 Gold Line will begin reduced schedules July 1st. The changes will be as follows:
Rt 30 West Run – Summer service will discontinue beginning Tuesday July 1, 2025. Service will resume Wednesday August 20, 2025 and will run from 7:10 AM until 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. There will be no evening service during the sessions. Late night service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will remain the same throughout the sessions.
Rt 38 Blue & Gold – Service will run Monday through Friday 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM during the summer. There will be no Saturday or Sunday service throughout the summer. Regular service will resume August 20, 2025 and will run throughout the sessions including breaks.
Rt 44 Valley View – There will be no summer service. Service will resume Wednesday August 20, 2025 and will run throughout the sessions including breaks.
Rt 6 Gold Line – Sunday service was subsidized by WVU and is being discontinued. Gold Line will run as usual Monday through Saturday.
These service eliminations are a result of requested cuts in service by WVU and West Run. Patrons are encouraged to consider alternative routes that may be available to meet their transportation needs. Full route and schedule information is available at www.busride.org. An online survey is also available for public feedback regarding these changes. While we aren’t able to reinstate the service we may be able to help you with trip planning using alternate routes.
