GOLD LINE ROUTE ADJUSTMENT

Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line Transit Authority is announcing a route adjustment to the Gold Line Schedule, effective Monday, September 24.

The Gold Line odd hour trips to Independence Hill MHP will now travel VanVoorhis Road from Mountaineer Station turning for the return trip at Independence Hill MHP. Service to The Villages at West Run will now occur on the return trip rather than on the outgoing trip. After departing Independence MHP, the Gold Line will turn on West Run Road, Pick up at The Villages and continue until turning onto Riddle Avenue. From Riddle, the Gold Line will proceed to Pineview Drive, turn onto Chestnut Ridge Road then proceed back to Mountaineer Station. The route direction change is being made in order to improve on-time service for the Gold Line route.

After evaluating 56 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for March 2026. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, Shawn Deval, Daniel Shorter and Andrew Kapper. All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
