Fare Collection to Resume on Route 50 Don Knotts

 

 Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line will resume collecting fares on Route 50 Don Knotts beginning Sunday December 1, 2024. Fares have been subsidized since September 2022 by Morgantown Community Resources and currently with City of Morgantown funding. 

 

Service provided by Rt 50 will remain unchanged, buses operate daily, Monday through Sunday. Departures from Pifer Terminal begin at 7:00 AM, with the last bus departing at 8:00 PM.

 

Through partnerships with the City of Morgantown and Monongalia County Commission two new programs have been developed to provide support to individuals in need within the community and support for our social service agencies. Both programs are designed to ensure that individuals who rely on public transportation can easily access vital services in the area. All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
