CHEAT LAKE PARK AND RIDE
RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
 
Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line Transit would like to invite the public to help celebrate the opening of the Cheat Lake Park and Ride Facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at 3:30 pm at the Park and Ride Facility, located off Exit 1 of the Mon-Fayette Expressway.

 
Mountain Line Board President Jenny Dinsmore will speak as well as Senator Bob Beach and Marvin Murphy, Assistant Deputy Secretary from the WV DOT.

 
The facility provides a location in the Cheat Lake area to catch Mountain Line’s Tyrone Route 8, or to meet up for a carpool or vanpool. Information about these services and other opportunities will be available at the ceremony. The $623,034 facility includes 34 parking spaces plus 3 accessible spaces and a bus shelter, and was paid for with federal and state funds.

All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
