West Virginia Public Transit Association (WVPTA) Launches Statewide Public Awareness Campaign Radio, Print and Feature Video Empower Local Systems To Promote Community Role of Public Transportation |
||||
The West Virginia Public Transit Association (WVPTA) is proud to announce a new advertising and marketing campaign to promote the quality, value and reliability of public transportation services. WVPTA consists of all 18 public transit agencies that serve West Virginians. Last year alone, West Virginia public transit systems logged 10 million vehicle hours and carried over 5 million passengers to their destinations. The overall theme of the campaign focuses on the impact public transportation has on every day life in West Virginia. West Virginia transit providers are placing advertising materials, including five different print ads and five unique radio spots, to advance the campaign theme – “West Virginia Public Transit – There’s A Lot Riding On It.” To support the local ad purchases, WVPTA is airing multiple, daily campaign radio spots November 10 – November 23 on 57 stations across the state. Another key component of the campaign is a 2:30 feature video that highlights the important role public transportation plays in the lives of West Virginians. The campaign is funded by the West Virginia Public Transit Association with a grant from the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Public Transit. Please contact WVPTA at 304-844-0123 for additional information. To view the advertising materials, listen to the radio spots or enjoy the feature video, please clink on the links below. |
