Mountain Line’s Grey Line Adds Waynesburg Service

Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line’s Grey Line daily service from northern West Virginia to Pittsburgh has added a stop in Waynesburg Pennsylvania. The Grey Line will stop at the Greene County Airport at 10:40 AM on the way north to the Pittsburgh Airport and at 3:00 PM on return trip to Morgantown, WV.

The newest stop on the Grey Line route is a result of the joint efforts of Waynesburg College, Waynesburg Prosperous & Beautiful- a local downtown revitalization group and the Greene County Commissioners.  Pat Bristor, Associate Dean of Students and a Waynesburg Prosperous & Beautiful committee member brought the issue to the group who agreed to help work on the proposal. “Waynesburg College has nearly 1,000 resident students, many who rely on air and ground transportation out of Pittsburgh,” she said. “We expect that the Grey Line service will be a great benefit to our student community.” Commissioner Judith Gardner remarked, “It has been several years since Waynesburg has been served with transit service to the Pittsburgh area so when the County was approached about a possible stop at the County Airport we were enthused to provide this service to area residents.”

The Grey Line offers a business class, along with general seating. Free wireless internet access and carry-on overhead storage will be available to all passengers.  The Grey Line has been in operation since late 2005, and operates 365 days each year. It travels from Clarksburg, Fairmont and Morgantown up to Waynesburg, Pittsburgh Greyhound station and Pittsburgh International Airport each day.  At Pittsburgh Airport, the Grey Line boards and alights at the ground-side terminal at Gate 8, at the luggage pick-up area.

A complete copy of the schedule is located on the Mountain Line web site at www.busride.org, and passengers are encouraged to make advance reservations there as well.
