Mountain Line honored at state public transit awards

Morgantown, WV- The Mountain Line Transit Authority was awarded seven state awards by the State Department of Public Transit at the West Virginia Public Transit Association annual conference held in Huntington, WV.

David Holman was named Outstanding West Virginia Maintenance Employee for his exemplary commitment to keeping Mountain Line buses running at their best. David Bruffy, General Manager for Mountain Line Transit, received a Good Neighbor Award for his assistance to other West Virginia transit agencies.

Other state awards that Mountain Line received include Best Safety Program, Best Management Innovation, Best Maintenance Program and an Honorable Mention for Best Marketing Program. Mountain Line also received recognition for its 2006 passenger increase.
