Mountain line uses twitter to keep public informed of route changes

Morgantown, WV- Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people, organizations or companies through the exchange of quick, frequent updates about what is happening.  Mountain Line Transit Authority is currently using Twitter to inform the public of any route changes due to weather conditions, road closures or construction.  This information is also posted on the My Bus page of the Mountain Line website www.busride.org.  You can sign up to have the Tweets sent directly to your phone by texting START to the number 40404. Once you set up your account through prompted texts you can text GO MountainLine to the same number to begin receiving the Mountain Line Tweets.  Twitter is a free service but you will be charged for texting according to your contract with your cell phone service provider.

For information on all Mountain Line bus routes and schedules, riders can call 304-291-RIDE (291-7433) during normal hours of operation or visit WWW.BUSRIDE.ORG.   You can also follow Mountain Line on Facebook.
