MOUNTAIN LINE REMINDS RIDERS OF SERVICE CUTBACKS BEGINNING THIS WEDNESDAY
Morgantown, WV-Mountain Line Transit Authority is reminding it’s riders of the reduction and elimination to services beginning July 1, 2009. These service changes are a result of funding reductions by third party contractors including The District and West Virginia University (WVU). The District has not renewed their service agreement with the Authority, and WVU has requested some service reductions beginning July 1, 2009. Details of the changes are as follows:
The District (Contract termination and service elimination)
Blue & Gold (Reduced Frequency to 20-minutes 8:00 am – 3:20 pm)
Blue & Gold (Eliminate weekday service from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
Blue & Gold (Eliminate early morning Sat. & Sun. 6:40 am – 9:30 am)
Orange Line evenings (Eliminate Sunday – Wednesday 11:00 pm – 1:30 am)
