Mountain Line Honors Top Employees
Morgantown, WV- The Mountain Line Transit Authority awarded its top employees last night at the Authority’s Board Meeting.
The Accident Free Drivers for 2008 were Mike Fisher, Walter Flint, David Headley, Sarah Heston, Kerri Johnson, Thomas Jones, Kevin Mackie, Mary Rogers, Bill Smith, Darryl White, and Mike Walls.
For his outstanding performance demonstrating dedication and service to the residents and visitors of Monongalia County, the Driver of the Year is Jim Huffman. The Authority also recognized Terry Lewis in 5th place, Anne Cramer in 4th place, Dave Stump in 3rd place, and Bobby Lee in 2nd place.
Mike Cress was named Maintenance Employee of the Year for his exemplary commitment to keeping Mountain Line buses running at their best and for being innovative in doing so.
Sheila Wolfe was named Employee of the Year for her dedicated service and commitment to keeping the wheels spinning at the offices of Mountain Line.
Jim Huffman, Mike Cress and Sheila Wolfe will all be competing for first place at the statewide level in the West Virginia Excellence Awards that will be announced at a conference in late July.
