Mountain Line Names Clinton
The Mountain Line Transit Authority is extremely pleased to announce its 2004 Driver of the Year, Mr. Clinton Burns. The Authority selected Mr. Burns for this honor based on his monthly performance evaluations in 2004. Mr. Burns average monthly performance evaluations were the highest among all of the Authority’s Drivers in calendar year 2004. Performance evaluations consider monthly performance in areas including demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers, and maintaining route schedules. Altogether, drivers are evaluated in eight major categories that include more than twenty specific service related areas.
Mr. Burns has worked for the Authority since October of 2000. As the Authority’s 2004 Driver of the Year, Mr. Burns will be nominated for the WV Division of Public Transit’s statewide, Driver of the Year to be presented at the annual West Virginia Public Transit Association’s Recognition Banquet.
The Authority established its Monthly
Driver Evaluation System in September of 2000 to improve overall service and
performance and to recognize it employees for their outstanding service to the
residents and visitors of
